Kyle and Malia's Wedding at
Horse Shoe Farm in
Hendersonville, North Carolina
Kyle and Malia’s wedding day was all about being surrounded by the people who know them best and celebrating the start of something new together.
From the early moments of getting ready to the laughter and energy that carried through the ceremony and into the reception, the day felt relaxed and genuine from beginning to end. It felt like a group of people who were excited to be there, supporting a couple they truly care about.

Kyle and Malia’s wedding at The Horse Shoe Farm in Hendersonville was the kind of day that reminds us why we enjoy what we do so much.
Nothing felt rushed or overly polished. The focus stayed on the people around them, friends and family who have known this couple for years and showed up ready to celebrate in a real and meaningful way. You could feel that sense of history and connection throughout the entire day.
The Horse Shoe Farm is one of our favorite venues in Western North Carolina because it naturally supports that kind of atmosphere. The property is laid out in a way that makes the day flow smoothly from one part of the celebration to the next. That allows couples to stay present with their guests, and it gives us the freedom to capture moments as they happen instead of constantly pulling people aside.
Kyle and Malia wanted their photos to feel honest and joyful, so we focused on documenting both the emotional moments and the fun ones. Some of the most memorable parts of the day came during the speeches, when friends and family shared stories that had clearly been building for years. There was laughter, a few tears, and plenty of smiles that told the story of how much this couple is loved.
When it came time for portraits, we kept things simple and relaxed. We used a few different spots around the property that offered great light and a natural backdrop, which allowed Kyle and Malia to get beautiful photos without spending too much time away from the celebration.
Once the reception got going, the energy picked up quickly. Dow Oak Events kept the dance floor busy, and The Silo Cookhouse, the on site restaurant at The Horse Shoe Farm, handled the catering, bar service, and desserts. Everything worked together in a way that made the evening feel smooth and fun from start to finish.
If you’re planning a wedding at The Horse Shoe Farm in Hendersonville and want photography that feels natural, relaxed, and true to the experience of the day, this venue is a really strong option.
