Kyle and Learia’s wedding at Delaney Ridge had that perfect late fall atmosphere where the season feels like it’s shifting right in front of you. November weddings in the mountains often carry a mix of fall colors and early winter tones, and their day leaned right into that blend. The decorations and scenery created a warm palette that worked beautifully with the mountain setting.

This wedding was also a little different for us in a good way. Most of the time we’re hired for both photography and videography, but for Kyle and Learia we were brought in just for photography. It was fun getting to focus completely on capturing still moments throughout the day.
​

Kyle and Learia’s wedding day at Delaney Ridge was one of those celebrations where the details, the emotions, and the people all came together in a really meaningful way.

Because we had photographed their engagement session the year before, it already felt like we were reconnecting with friends when the wedding day arrived. Engagement sessions have a way of doing that. By the time the wedding day comes around, everyone is more comfortable and the photos tend to feel more natural because we already know how the couple interacts with each other.
​
The late November timing of their wedding created a really beautiful atmosphere throughout the day. Fall colors were still present around the property, but there were hints of winter starting to settle in as well. Their decorations reflected that perfectly, blending warm autumn tones with seasonal touches that gave the whole celebration a cozy feel.

Their ceremony at Delaney Ridge included several moments that stood out. One of the most memorable was when the bride’s father sang a song during the ceremony, which added a deeply personal touch to the moment. It’s always special when family members take part in the ceremony in a way that reflects the couple’s story.
​
They also incorporated a unity ceremony that involved blending two wines together. That combined wine later became the communion wine they shared during the ceremony, which created a meaningful symbol of their lives coming together.
​
Later in the evening, the reception brought its own share of emotional moments. Learia shared a mother daughter dance that was incredibly sweet to watch, and it was clear how much that moment meant to both of them.

As the night went on the energy shifted into celebration mode, with friends and family filling the dance floor and enjoying the rest of the evening together. The night wrapped up with a sparkler exit, which created a beautiful send off as Kyle and Learia made their way through a tunnel of light and cheers from their guests.

Kyle and Learia’s wedding at Delaney Ridge was a wonderful blend of personal moments, thoughtful traditions, and joyful celebration, and we were grateful to be there to capture it.
