Jeremy and Abigail’s wedding journey is one we will never forget. Their original wedding date was October 19, 2024, a time when Asheville and the surrounding areas were still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Helene. With so much uncertainty across Western North Carolina, planning became incredibly difficult. Rather than postponing everything, they made the intentional decision to move forward with their ceremony at the breathtaking St Lawrence Basilica in downtown Asheville.

    The Basilica provided a timeless and reverent setting for their vows. The architecture, and the intimacy of the space created a powerful contrast to everything happening outside the city. It was a reminder that even in difficult seasons, meaningful moments can still take place.

Their reception was rescheduled for March at the Country Club of Asheville. When that weekend finally arrived, the area was covered in smoke from nearby wildfires, creating a noticeable haze in some of their outdoor portraits on the golf course. While the fogginess softened the mountain views, it also added a unique atmosphere that now feels like part of their story.

    Despite having both wedding dates marked by natural disasters, Jeremy and Abigail never let circumstances define their celebration. Their reception was filled with energy, laughter, and deep gratitude for simply being together. Lucco London served as their DJ and created an incredible atmosphere throughout the night. In one of the most memorable moments of the evening, he invited Abigail to step behind the booth and DJ a song herself, bringing an unexpected and personal twist to the dance floor.

    Their wedding gave SO many reasons for being unforgettable, and overall we were just thankful to be part of it.
