Connor and Emilia's Wedding at
Green Mountain Farm in
Hendersonville, North Carolina
Connor and Emilia’s wedding at Green Mountain Farm turned out to be one of those days that came together in an unexpected way. I actually got a call the night before their wedding asking if I could step in to photograph the day because their original photographer had gotten sick. Thankfully I was free, and I’m really glad I was able to say yes.

Green Mountain Farm sits on a peaceful working farm surrounded by mountain views, and it has a relaxed atmosphere that makes people feel comfortable right away. Their ceremony took place outdoors with the pond and mountains behind them, which gave the whole moment a calm, natural setting. Afterward, everyone gathered in the open-air barn for the reception, where the celebration carried on with plenty of laughter and time spent with friends and family.

Connor and Emilia’s wedding at Green Mountain Farm in the Hendersonville area is one that definitely didn't happen in a conventional way, at least from my perspective.

The night before their wedding, I received a call asking if I was available to step in as the photographer. Their original wedding photographer had gotten sick and wasn’t able to make it. Fortunately I happened to be free that day, and by the next morning I was on my way to Green Mountain Farm to document the celebration.

Sometimes the unexpected situations end up creating some of the most memorable wedding days.
Green Mountain Farm is a beautiful working farm venue set on twenty acres with mountain views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it feel tucked away from everything else. The ceremony space sits outdoors overlooking a pond with the mountains in the background, which creates a simple but really scenic setting for exchanging vows.
Connor and Emilia’s ceremony felt relaxed and heartfelt, with friends and family gathered close as they promised their lives to each other. The open landscape around the farm gave us plenty of space for portraits afterward, and the mountain views added a quiet backdrop that fit the tone of the day really well.

The reception took place inside the venue’s open-air barn, a large space with retractable sides that allows fresh mountain air to move through while still keeping everyone comfortable. It’s the kind of space that works well for dancing, conversations, and the kind of celebration where people don’t feel rushed to leave.

Throughout the evening there were plenty of laughs, hugs between friends, and moments where people simply enjoyed being together. Even though I stepped in at the last minute, Connor and Emilia and their families were incredibly welcoming, and it didn’t take long for the whole day to feel natural.

Their wedding at Green Mountain Farm was a reminder that sometimes the best days don’t come from perfect planning. They come from good people, a beautiful place, and a willingness to enjoy the moment no matter what surprises show up along the way.
