Chase and Tyler's Wedding at
Hart Square Village
in Vale, North Carolina

Chase and Tyler’s wedding was one that meant a lot to us on a personal level.

We’ve known Tyler since her days in student ministry at the church where we used to work, so getting to photograph and film her wedding felt a little like watching a younger friend step into a new season of life. We also had the privilege of documenting their proposal at the top of Black Balsam Knob, which made this day feel even more meaningful. Being part of both the beginning and the celebration of their story is something we never take lightly.

The whole day was filled with laughter, familiar faces, and the kind of joy that comes when people genuinely love being together. Friends stepped in to play guitar and sing during the ceremony, adding a personal touch that made the moment feel even more special.

Scroll through the gallery below to see how Chase and Tyler’s wedding day came together, surrounded by community, friendship, and a whole lot of love.

Chase and Tyler’s wedding day felt less like an event and more like a gathering of people who had walked alongside them for years.

Because we had known Tyler for so long, many of the faces in the crowd were familiar to us. That created a really comfortable atmosphere from the start. There was a sense of trust in the room, and it made documenting the day feel natural and relaxed.

Being part of their story from the proposal to the wedding made this one especially meaningful. We photographed Chase’s proposal to Tyler at the top of Black Balsam Knob, surrounded by mountain views and fresh air. Seeing them stand together again on their wedding day, this time in front of family and friends, felt like a full circle moment.

The ceremony itself reflected who they are as a couple. Instead of relying on outside performers, friends stepped in to play guitar and sing, which gave the whole experience a personal and heartfelt feel. It wasn’t flashy or overproduced. It was sincere, and that sincerity carried through the entire day.

There were also small details that made the day memorable. Our friend Gabi Tyler did a beautiful job styling Tyler’s hair, and you could see the care and creativity in every part of the look. It’s always special when people who know the couple personally get to contribute to the celebration.

Throughout the day, laughter came easily. Conversations lingered. People stayed close. The energy never felt rushed or pressured. It felt like a group of people who were genuinely happy to be there, supporting two people they cared about.

We were honored to provide photography for Chase and Tyler’s wedding, capturing everything from the quiet emotional moments to the joyful celebration that followed.

Their wedding was a reminder of something we see often but never take for granted. When a couple is surrounded by strong relationships and genuine community, the day naturally feels meaningful from beginning to end.
