WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY ALBUM
Aaron and Braelyn
Aaron and Braelyn’s wedding day in Monroe, North Carolina was a sweet one for us to be part of, especially since we’ve known the bride’s family for years. It felt a little like a reunion, with familiar faces, lots of laughter, and an overall laid back vibe.
The ceremony included beautiful acoustic music that added a warm, intimate feeling to the day, followed by a shorter reception that kept the celebration moving without losing any of the fun. There was plenty of dancing, plenty of time to mingle, and a colorful confetti send-off that was especially beautiful in the daylight.

Aaron and Braelyn’s July 18, 2026 wedding in Monroe, NC was a great reminder that a wedding doesn’t have to follow a long, complicated timeline to feel like a full celebration. Sometimes keeping things simple gives everyone more room to actually enjoy themselves.
We were especially excited to photograph this one because we’ve known the bride’s family for years, so walking into the wedding felt more like joining a sweet family reunion than simply showing up as the photographers. There were plenty of familiar faces, and getting to document such an important day for people we already knew made the experience even more meaningful.
The ceremony had a beautiful acoustic musical accompaniment that fit the atmosphere perfectly. It added something personal without overpowering the moment, and gave the ceremony a warm, intimate feeling as the bridal party entered in.
For the reception, they chose to keep things a little shorter, which ended up being a really fun choice. The evening still had plenty of dancing, conversation, and celebration, but there was something nice about keeping the whole thing short and sweet. Nobody seemed ready for the party to end, but there was still plenty of time for everyone to enjoy being together.
We also took the opportunity to experiment with something new during the day. Alongside their photography coverage, we brought along one of our vintage camcorders to capture some old-school video footage. We’re excited to eventually offer this as part of our wedding services, so this wedding gave us a chance to start experimenting with the look and feel of it in a real wedding environment.
And then there was the confetti exit.
Because it was still daylight outside, the colorful confetti really stood out, creating a bright and energetic ending to the celebration. It was one of those simple choices that made for some seriously fun photographs and gave the day a memorable final moment.
Aaron and Braelyn’s wedding was joyful, personal, and full of people who genuinely cared about them, which is exactly the kind of wedding day we love getting to document.
